Terms of Service

By using my software applications and services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

The applications are intended solely for personal use.

License: You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the applications on a number of devices as specified in the license within your personal work and home contexts, subject to compliance with these terms and applicable laws. By purchasing the software you agree to the terms of service and privacy policy.

Disclaimer of Warranties: This application is provided "as is," without any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. I do not guarantee that the application will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of Liability: In no event shall I be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use this application.

Governing Law: These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Bavaria, Germany.

Privacy Policy

Users' data privacy and information security are of utmost importance to me. This Windows application is designed with security and privacy as fundamental principles, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other relevant German data protection laws.

Your usage of the software or web pages is not tracked (no cookies) and no analytics data is kept or sent anywhere.

Only the following requests are going out of your computer: license check, update check, and payment processing.

The only personal information that is collected during payment is your email address, country, and postal code. This data is necessary for payment processing and license recovery purposes and is stored encrypted in the Microsoft Azure Cloud in North Europe (Dublin). It is not used for any other purpose.

As part of operations, certain data is collected to safeguard your experience:

Explicitly not collected are the following: name, birth date, email address, financial data, professional data, location data, calendar data, contacts data, any other personal data, online account data, device data, usage data, diagnostic data, social network accounts or information.

For payment processing, I use the third-party service Paddle. Paddle is a merchant of record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns and refunds. Paddle is the controller of the data you provide during the purchase process. For more information on Paddle's privacy policy, please visit https://paddle.com/privacy.

Your personal information is processed exclusively for fulfilling my contractual obligations related to software licensing. Please note that due to legal requirements, I cannot honor requests for the deletion of this minimal amount of data essential for license management.

I do not share your personal information with any other third parties than mentioned above, except as required by law or to fulfill our contractual obligations. I may disclose your personal information to law enforcement authorities or other government agencies if required by law.

Support Policy

I'm committed to providing support for my applications, though it is subject to availability. Support is primarily provided through GitHub issues, where users can categorize their queries as either bugs or enhancement requests.

While I strive to address all issues promptly, please understand that response times may vary. I do not guarantee resolution times or outcomes, but I will make every effort to assist you.

For efficient support, please ensure your issue reports are detailed and include all necessary information to reproduce any bugs. For enhancement requests, please provide a clear description of the desired functionality.

Refund Policy

In accordance with German consumer protection law, please note that all users are automatically enrolled in a 14-day trial period during which the software can be tested extensively without any limitations. A purchase is only required after this trial period has ended.

As such, after payment is made following the trial period, no refund requests will be accepted. This policy is in place to ensure that customers have ample opportunity to evaluate the software before committing to a purchase.

Please note that this refund policy does not affect your statutory rights under German consumer protection law.
